Handheld Standoff Mine Detection System ECCOSORB^® MCS/SS6M is used in the electronics of this ground penetration radar (GPR) to eliminate RF interference being emitted by an L-band transmitter.

ECCOSORB^® AN supports the latest reiteration of a COM 201 antenna.  These antennas, which are part of a handheld system being used by military convoys, jams frequencies used by the enemy to detonate roadside bombs with cell phones.  This latest antenna design will allow soldiers within the convoy to communicate with each other while on the move and during jamming.
