ECCOSORB HFX-HC is a series of hollow pyramidal absorbers designed for high-power applications.  It is made up of lossy honeycomb material with high fire-retardant properties.

Application:

ECCOSORB HFX-HC is a high power absorber which can be used to line partially or totally specific high power densities areas of anechoic chambers. This absorber can be used for near field scanner applications where high power densities are often met. It can be used also to line the surroundings of feed sources of Compact Antenna Test Ranges. The honeycomb structure of ECCOSORB HFX-HC is made out of high fire retardant material and can be easily ventilated to allow higher power illumination.
